Blithe Spirit broke box office records when it was first staged in 1941, and the play has been a perennial audience favourite around the globe ever since.  Following a revival on Broadway starring Angela Lansbury (winning her a 2009 Tony Award), Perth's Classic Theatre Festival stages this riotous comedy about what happens when a novelist with an interest in the occult unwittingly brings his first wife back from the spirit world, only to find himself in an uncomfortable battle of wits between his current wife and his former one!  An eccentric medium tries to sort through the three-way mess, with hilarious results.
