Through in-depth character exploration, emotional connection, and script analysis, participants will learn how to bring authenticity and depth to their performances. Each session will emphasize techniques for building strong scene partnerships, developing compelling subtext, and making bold choices that elevate dramatic tension or comedic moments. Actors will work with carefully selected scripts, receiving personalized coaching to refine their instincts and craft. 2 weeks agoBurning Passions Theatre's ongoing Playwrights Circle, which provides dramaturgical support to Ottawa playwrights, held another workshop this weekend for a new play by Elle Attson. Candy Witch is an origin story where history melts into myth, and sweetness turns sharp. A dark, playful journey into the making of a legend.
